OUTREACH

The London Choral Sinfonia are proud of the outreach offered in and around London each year. The core values of the LCS are: Excellence, Innovation, Education, Community Engagement and Enjoyment.

Through our outreach scheme with local London schools, the LCS aims to educate children and young adults, by bringing classical music into their learning, and hoping to make music not just more accessible, but exciting and transformative for them.

We are also pleased to engage with individuals and institutions within our community.

For a number of years, we have run the LCS Overture programme with Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Students from Guildhall are awarded a 30-minute pre-concert recital before LCS concerts in large venues such as Cadogan Hall and St Johns Smith Square.

London Choral Sinfonia Musical Director, Michael Waldron, ensures that both the best musical talent is attracted to perform with the LCS, and that our performances are of the highest quality. 

Above all, we aim to create concerts and events which give immense enjoyment for performers and audience, ensuring the atmosphere of partnership and fun between the two.
